DropChute Software

DropChute+ uses RSA Public Key Authentication and Symmetric Key Encryption to verify identities and ensure no one else can decipher data you’re exchanging. It sends data through a secure real-time connection. Unlike e-mail, files never rest on mail servers en route (where others might see them). And DropChute+ automatically blocks out files infected with computer viruses.

2. When you install the program, you'll see how easy it is to wait for calls and place calls. To call someone, you'll simply let the program guide you through creating an icon to represent the person. When you create an icon to represent me, you'll be asked the questions below, so I've provided you with the answers in advance:

What is my unique name?   joeizen@joeizen.com

What's the best way to connect with me? Through the Internet.

Can you place Internet Rendezvous call to me? Yes. You can signal my PC to connect to the Internet by calling my modem.

What is the phone number of my modem? 713 668-8815

3. Once you've created an icon to represent me, you can deliver files to me instantly by dragging and dropping them onto my icon. My PC must be running and waiting for calls at the time. I leave my PC set up to wait for calls 24 hours a day, every day.

That's all the information you need to place calls to me. For me to call you, I need similar information from you. After installing the software, you can prepare instructions for me, like the ones you're reading now. Simply select New DropChute Entry and choose 'Help someone else get set up.
